Photo samples

This evening I took a photography class with a friend/photographer. We met at a park east of North Branch on the Sunrise River. Man, was that ever flowing fast!  Sorry-- got distracted. She (instructor Connie) went over some basics and had two models at the park for us to "practice" on. So, I've got a few samples to show. These are completely unedited, but I've now decided that I'm going to get Photoshop Lightroom very soon. I could turn these pics into something pretty awesome when I get that software.
The trash-the-dress model was a friend and former co-worker Monica. She got married two years ago (and still fits into her dress-- lucky her!) and graciously accepted the request to model for us. The girl is someone Connie knows and she's aspiring to be a model, so she was loving the cameras snapping.
Since there was about 13 of us students, we had to fight for eye contact, but sometimes the best pics aren't intentional. Here are a few from the shoot.
